My previous Gnostic Triquetra attempted to demonstrate how the Magic Octahedron
The pattern is arranged so each face with a clover is flanked by three adjacent blank faces. And each blank face is flanked by three clovers.
Patterns for puzzle cube enthusiasts! Puzzle cubes include Rubik's Cube, Meffert's Cubes, Pyraminx, East Sheen, Square-1, whatever! They're not always pretty, but they're mathematically interesting.
Want to re-create a pattern yourself? I don't usually work out the specific moves, so just try to "solve" your cube like the picture. Each arrangement poses a simple challenge for the experienced cuber.
